Some new pictures to share…I like them…They were taken (for the most part) under some degree of influence…You can view them on my Flickr account…I believe it is located on the right side of this page…

As some of you may be able to tell, the title of this post is a reference to a book called Luna Park by Bret Easton Ellis. I haven’t read a novel in quite some time, & well, I’ve found myself with a measure of free time available for reading, so I ordered it last week & it arrived today. I was influenced to get it based on the album Fear of a Blank Planet by Porcupine Tree, as it’s lyrics are based on the book. Of course I’ve seen American Psycho & Less Than Zero, but I’ve never read any of Ellis’ novels. I was told that Less Than Zero is a much easier book to start into, but, I decided to press on with reckless abandon for my own literary intelligence. I’ll let you know how that turns out.

Just to let you know, I’ve got it to where I can show my own photographs in the header of the page…They will change from time to time, & will mostly be my own photographs…The one currently atop the page is a photo taken from the balcony of our chalet in Port Zelande, Netherlands earlier this year…

A good friend of mine sent me a very nice video I think you will like, it’s called “The End” & is very well done from a conceptual standpoint, as well as the 3D artwork done by the artists…I haven’t quite got the whole video posting thing down yet, but I will make sure you are at least able to link to the video…

Perhaps a few new pictures will pop up on my Flickr before I go to work tonight…Perhaps not, either way, they should sometime this weekend..

Right away, as soon as I started writing this post, I started thinking about the last time I attempted to start a blog. It didn’t work out too well. I think that I wrote some interesting pieces, & made a few people happy that they took the time to read what I had to say, but something just didn’t feel right. I think it lasted maybe three months, which by many standards, is respectable. But I started to feel somewhat like Jack Torrance, going mad, yet going mad in front of just two or three people. But, that is the past, & I must look ahead, something I’ve only recently been doing with some degree of success.

It’s Halloween, it’s a nice holiday I suppose. I’m watching a program on the Waverly Hills Sanatorium, ghost-hunting in general interests me very little. I have some measure of fascination with ghosts & the afterlife, but I cannot get into ghost-hunting as a serious activity. I’ve seen enough television shows on the subject to figure out that they are just plain boring. I mean, how many times do you have to watch some nerd talk about seeing some weird light, or watching a meter jump to realize that nothing is really happening. Ghost-hunting is like poker, unless you are doing it yourself, it’s no fun, there is no reason to watch someone else do it. But I digress…
